I was wandering around between hundred-year-old cast iron pans (we got one also) and a red-candle’d shrine to the Knights Templar (???) and the shop owner’s hand-rubbed pipestone pipes and hand-cut gemstones and his terrier Skippy and I saw them and I clutched them to my chest. they were “$18.00 for pair.” I went up to the shop owner and said “I would like to give these a new home, please”
