  • moon-harshed – the opposite of sun-dappled
  • yarny – tight and explosive at the same time
  • lor-left – spacetalk for “lower left”
  • dawnlight – duh
  • underbits – duh
  • washbox – an efficient cross between a kitchen and a dishwasher
  • deebee – slang for direct-to-brain entertainment
  • chunnel (not the Chunnel) – slatted tubes for missiles
  • bommer – originally “bomber”; essentially, “motherfucker”
