this might be an unpopufur opinion to have but I actually don’t think that artificial intelligence that achieves sentience or self-determination is a morally or ethically defensible given the goal of using artificial intelligence systems like that as very advanced tools
you can not ignore that, after a certain point, the relationship between man and machine will cease to be merely that of an individual utilizing a particularly flashy screwdriver and turn into a society holding an entire class of non-citizen in slavery
Well, yeah.
