my lucky wind is blowing again. Jake just informed me that it’s the Pacific Easterly, one of the trade winds.

it’s not that I don’t want to watch it, it’s just that I haven’t been motivated yet to seek out a cartoon that exists on a website I don’t already frequent

everything I know about SU so far summed up in a single post

so tonight we raided the freezer and the fridge and Jake decided to rely on his specialty and whip up some charcuterie.

he started with a few veggies… onions, carrots, bok choy, bell pepper…

next it was time to put some veal and beef and oats and seasoning-type shit into the mixer and beat it to hell until it became a delicious meatveggieseasoningoats paste and he formed it into this lovely loafy:

next up: that bacon you can see lurking in the corner.

enlarged for bacon.

all set! into the oven with this bad boy

holy wow this is gonna be good – topped with a BBQ-Dijon-chipotle-fruitbeer glaze…….

but you just don’t know how beautiful these things are until they come out of the oven

LOOK AT THIS

yes it tasted as good as it looked

in a little while I’m going to post a readmore text post with beautiful pictures of this meatloaf Jake is making. fair warning if you don’t want to see pics of food or meat

I look forward to reading some Kurzweil as sort-of fiction. inspirational, but not altogether practical. we shall see
