y’know, I was disheartened to see how few notes this got, and was going to just drop it. But… no, cause it’s no longer just about me.
This is a poem for the rest of us, for everyone who has to navigate different cultures and being unheard, again and again. For everyone who knows what it’s like to be labelled “exotic”, and the constant pressure to stfu and stop trying.
