I never upload my non-digital work to Tumblr or DA for inexplicable reasons, but I loved this one too much to let it be forgotten.
I’ve been collecting all kinds of leaflets, pamphlets and otherwise appealing scraps of paper for a couple of years now – not using them for anything, but not having the heart to toss them. So tonight I finally decided to use them for something good.
Last time I did collage was in late elementary school, so this is incredibly nostalgic to me. Most of the materials were from my Japan trip (even stuck a little pressed cherry blossom there) and I got a chance to reflect on my adventures while cutting them out and sticking them on to the cardboard, heh.
(Sadly you can’t really feel the texture and differences in paper weight in the scanned version.)
