IT’S OKAY they never come in contact. the first one is gone after book 1 and the other doesn’t even get introduced until book 4 and they don’t cross paths at all. and the “R2” one is basically just a toolbox and basic diagnostic machine on wheels. and the coppery one was originally used to inflict really awful psychological scenarios on people, but he escaped and now wanders around saying dirty things and robbing ATMs compulsively. so not really even an assassin. and yes, humanoid, but…I mean, if we’re going to build robots, we’re probably going to build them like things we know and that we admire. it’s unoriginal but it also makes…a lot of sense to be unoriginal in context. the people who designed him weren’t particularly creative.
