I have a fantastic list of one-liner ideas collected over the years. every time I look at one, a fully-realized world springs into my head. I don’t commit to any of them, though. I stare at the list and wish I had more time, even while I waste it scrolling up and down and up and down.
universe, grant me the patience to stick with good ideas, and the wisdom to know which ones suck.
You know the solution, even if you don’t want to hear it.
Start writing. If it sucks, even if you’ve written 10,000 words, salvage what you can and scrap.
You can never know if it’ll be good or not until it’s done.
