queer-pong:

the sexual tension between church and state

‘Please,’ Church whispered, pressing forward so that State was trapped against the wall. ‘You need me inside you. You know that you only feel whole when I’m inside you.’

State pushed Church roughly away. ‘I don’t,’ State said. ‘I don’t. You know that we separated for a reason. You can’t just come around here and act like you belong in— like you only want— like I’m only here for you to have your way with. You just can’t.’

And then State was gone, back held straight, nose held high. Church watched State go.

‘I think that we were meant to be together,’ Church whispered. But State would never hear. State would never understand.
