How can you hate zombies, August? What about movies like “Shaun of the Dead”?

it’s more the culture surrounding the zombie fad and the subsequent thousands of horrid attempts to recreate the good stuff. I did like Shaun of the Dead, and I did even write my own attempt at explaining zombies (though that was more of a meta-commentary on how silly the whole thing was). but the “zombie fans” and the crap produced for them is just…

yuck.

and the research we found showed that the idea of biological changes in people to turn them into “undead” is as new as the 1920s, so…with that in mind it’s kind of terrifying that people came up with a way, fictional or otherwise, to mass-murder their fellow humans with no remorse.
