not even joking, fate has been preparing me for this book. I went to find what types of clear minerals were found in Libya, and golden desert glass – a form of tektite – was the first one. and I once found a significant piece of tektite (though we spent YEARS trying to figure out if it was a meteorite or something else) when I was young, on a family vacation in Utah.
