August’s Nothing But the Rain Guest Star Wish List #3: Gillian Jacobs

On Community, Gillian Jacobs plays my hearttwin, Britta Perry – and that’s not an easy character to pull off with the perfect balance of grace and clumsiness, likeability and “buzzkill.”

From seeing her in what limited capacity I have, I really think that Jacobs is a fantastic actress who needs a really strong non-Britta-like role to break out of what is inevitably a boxing-in of her talent. I’d love to give her that role on a short arc, something with a little more actual edge than she’s been allowed so far.
