I haven’t been so broken up about ending a show since BSG, but wrapping up The Borgias is absolutely killing me, even after a week has passed. UGGGHHHHHHH everything about that show makes my heart squeeze. Scar as the Pope, one who legit believed in what he was doing. Lucrezia, ugghhhhhh. and Cesare with his stupid monkey face and his big sad eyes. just ugghhhhhhhhh. it’s Game of Thrones but the actual events that inspired said books, and also female characters who matter and do things. and Micheletto. oh Mic. my baby. please, someone, anyone watch this show so I can commiserate.
the Band in Seattle promo is just plain AWESOME.
AHEM shameless plug (Band in Seattle)

In each episode of “Band in Seattle” two up-and-coming Pacific Northwest Bands are heard along with their unique stories and processes. Airing weekly, this series lets the viewer find their favorites before fame puts a block between them and the performers.
this is the show Jake has brilliantly pulled together out of nothing (I mean nothing) and the show I get to be assistant director on
sooooo if you wanna check it out I mean that could be cool
it’s good times on set man, good times on set
I don’t want to see my sausage get made, I just want to consume the delicious product and not think about the backstabbing and bitter recriminations that went into making it.
“Smart comedy” doesn’t mean that it will make you smarter, but rather that it actually took some intelligence to create. What makes the NBC comedy so great is that week after week it features lines, jokes and situations that not only make the audience howl with laughter, but make your jaw drop in awe at the creativity and wit of the writers (not to mention every episode is densely layered, which makes each one infinitely rewatchable). The only explanation for the lack of viewership is that people aren’t watching television to be entertained anymore; they’re simply watching it as a diversion.
