ladyoftheshield:

I have a friend I grew apart from years ago. However, I am slowly reconnecting with her. She recently had a baby, who is small and adorable. She messaged me tonight to tell me that she had downloaded Redwall years ago but never read it, (due entirely to my pestering) but since her baby was fussy during feeding sessions, she had started to read it to her because the baby liked the sound of her voice.

Redwall isn’t going anywhere. It’s always going to find its way to people who need it most- even if it’s never as popular as it once was, it’s not going to die either. It lives on in the lives it saved, in the people it inspired to be better people, in the friendships built on it, on the wonderful stories that Redwall sparked that grew up to be their own things and sparked friendships of their own.

IF you answered A: Fear is a foreign concept to you. Congratulations.

IF you answered B: You are a lesbian.

IF you answered C: You have a fursona & you are a furry. There is no escaping this fate.

Send help, the ROC is trying to reach back out to me (and I’m not interested).

I was so tempted to Vits-RP at you teasingly in this post, but I couldn’t summon anything that felt genuine. spose I’ve left that world decidedly behind too.
