I think I subconsciously knew I needed to finish my sitcom draft before Comedy Night Done Right started back up

so that way I’m not influenced as much by the awesome that is my shows.

I’ve come to appreciate the fact that I didn’t watch TV growing up, particularly comedy, because it means I come at the genre with a fresh perspective and don’t get bogged down in all the conventions and tropes that I think need to be in every episode.

and now I can just sit back tonight and relax and enjoy the glory that is NBC Comedy.
