reasons why life is pretty cool right now:

  • just bought a Mercedes with under 25k miles on it
  • stopped in to have a “move up the ladder” chat with the boss and received a very warm response
  • hitting NaNo’s halfway point today
  • was able to buy my mom a Kindle for her birthday

IKEA trip this weekend garnered us a lovely red chair and a second, extra-warm duvet. which we stuffed inside with the original duvet so now there’s a giant bag of lumpy warmth on our bed.

we call it our Cave of Irresponsibilities.

I want nothing more than to return to it this day.
