Q

of late, I have to give this one to Amy Poehler in Yes Please:

“It can be hard, this life. Beautiful too. Mine is beautiful, mostly. Lucky me.”

jiggly

just as

granted me
your kindness.

darker than I expected for the word jiggly — but true!

mls-classics replied to your post: dammit. I wish there was more pizza.

It is not yet 10 for you, fren. Go sexy-voice a pizzeria and summon a fresh-faced-flustered lad with another one.

BEST part of this is that the last pizza delivery person was a girl, and red-haired and boot’d and plaid’d and adorable, and I was a bit flustered and tipsy when signing her receipt. oops

TOOOMMMMMM

mut admit sometimes I still call you Tibs in my head and you’re this eerie combination of featheres and curls and waaaat?!

but then you post about TF2 and I remember burd can’t game, so

but seriously, thanks for all the support, through all the things, all of ‘em, and cackling at me even when I’m doing well. :’D

I think this is the first time that someone’s incessant fanposts on Tumblr have made me want to try a vidya game, but I am almost tempted to give TF2 a shot

I am surprised you didn’t tag me to this post.

Man, I don’t do multiplayer shooters. Ever. I think the last ones I did were a little Halo 2 with college friends, and then old Goldeneye on the N64 with middle school friends. I just don’t like it.

But man, TF2 is amazing. It looks good. It controls well. Every class has distinct advantages and disadvantages and 2-4 different versions of those depending on your loadout, and more than ANYTHING, it’s a game that encourages teamwork.

Like… one player moving to medic can shift a game so much. One player moving to sniper and taking out the opposition’s heavies. One to engineer, setting sentries at chokepoints and teleporters to keep your team on the front lines. One demoman laying traps on the point. One scout circling behind to take out opposing snipers or capturing a point from behind. One spy just wreaking all kinds of havok and keeping them paranoid and distracted. One good rocket-jumping soldier ruining their day because NO ONE LOOKS UP. And of course a good pyro who can either support their team or go full kamikaze and wreck a group so easily.

It’s just an amazingly designed game and I’m so hooked.

And the best thing is that it’s Free to Play, you get different weapons both through random drops and by getting achievements, and the stock loadouts are still some of the best. (The best soldiers and scouts I’ve seen, for example, still use stock primaries.)

haha cuz I knew you’d see it anyway. -.^

I love so many things about Valve and their game creation culture and it seems like the TF2 fans have picked up on that. hence the appreciation. maybe I’ll see if Jake wants to play with me soon.

bad writer moment: Tom just made reference to my own characters and I DIDN’T EVEN GET IT

in a strange way I feel like emkat and tom and the roc were my high school. there was drama. there were dropouts. there were real feels and hormone feels and cliques and shit, and somehow on the other side of it a few of us still get together at a bar we all discovered in college and swap stories and keep each other up to date

I swear, I thought Chloe was gonna kiss Beca at that first party? When she gets all close and says “I can tell… we’re gonna be fast friends.”  Totally waiting for it.

I could see why Beca liked Jesse because DAT HAIR but any time she and Chloe were on screen together it was just like…………….now kiss…………….mmmmphhhh……………..

my lunch companion did the “scales” hands and was like “yeahhhh…over here is Jesse and Beca’s chemistry…over HERE is Beca and Chloe’s chemistry……..”
