gratefulness post
someone today accused me of being ungrateful, so in that spirit, I thought maybe I’d list some things I’m grateful for today.
- having a boyfriend who lets me watch my Thursday night NBC lineup without a word of complaint
- having a boyfriend who gives me the uber-authentic dirk (!!!!!!) he’s had since he was 16 as a present (and the engraving he’s getting for me for Christmas asdfghjkl)
- awesome Facebook and Tumblr friends who know what’s up when it comes to OWS, and who can badassedly take down my obnoxious acquaintances with their WORDS
- the very substantial paycheck I get tonight at midnight
- ALL THE FOOD all up in my house now that I finally went grocery shopping
- my fertile imagination and all that entails (wink wink nudge nudge)
- listening to music at work
- the awesome and courteous British guy named Ian who just stopped in and chatted with me
- having the means to support myself on my writing
- having a sitcom pilot just chillin’ in my back pocket
- the eloquence of people writing about OWS
- free Canfield solitaire online
- the fact that my co-worker’s fiance wasn’t hurt in the accident that totaled his car today
- a British friend on Facebook who I met through a competition to win an autographed copy of the SUPER script
- my iPhone, Sexy
- loverat
- the beautiful and fun fall/Halloween decorations in this office
- free candy on a daily basis
- ample fresh, clean water
- nearby toilet facilities that are clean
- my job
- having enough clothes to challenge myself to only wear 30 articles of clothing for 30 days
- the internet
- not having to use the internet if I don’t want to
- this badass found leather ring my boyfriend gave me
don’t tell me I’m not grateful.
