I was a bridesmaid at my friend’s wedding last week and her grandmother was standing with us to take pictures. now remember this woman has known me since I was a tomboy at age 3 and should probably know nothing has changed

anyway she goes “don’t stand like that” and I looked down at my feet which were in my normal wide stance. she goes “you stand like a man. stand like this” and proceeds to demonstrate a closed-legged pose adding “stand like a lady you’ll be prettier in the pictures that way”
