interview update

interview went better than awesome. I was exhausted after the 8.5-hour day of talking intensely with various people who would be giving me orders if I work there, but hoo boy is it the place I want to work. the competency, courteousness, professionalism, and energy had me so fired up that I only got dry mouth once during my presentation and felt totally at home (besides all the insanity that is the GINORMOUS campus).  it’s hard to imagine a better place for me.

of course, there’s always a decision to be made, so I’m holding off on the utter “dancing like a fool” excitement for now. but the recruiter seems to think she’ll have an answer for me by the end of the week, and people I know who’ve gone through the process said that you get sent home at any point if they decide no, so…

I’m stoked.
