Many of my books fall under a single universe name:
THE REALM OF REASON.
Cheesy. Epic. Pulpy.
“Realm” makes you think it’s fantasy; “reason” pins it more squarely in the science fiction camp. I blatantly cross the line between the two genres regularly.
Books from The Realm of Reason might contain magic, spaceships, or both. They definitely contain talking animals, but they also adhere to world rules. Mystery and adventure abound… but it will all make sense, in the end.
Stories set in The Realm of Reason stay (relatively) consistent to one another, but each book or series stands alone.
If you enjoy space opera, science fantasy, found families, hopeful endings, and flawed heroes, you’ll love The Realm of Reason!

Books from The Realm of Reason
Daugment — What if the only way to escape your enemy was to become his dog? Fierce introvert Pitney Scolan falls from decorated general to cybernetically-enhanced hound and must learn to rely on others if he’s going to save the galaxy. Readers say, “Two paws up!” about this space opera stand-alone!
Seeker — “Air Bud” meets “Indiana Jones” in this short but poignant sci-fi adventure tail of Opie, a daugment with unwavering loyalty and a penchant for seeking out the truth. Join “Seeker” and his monkey-like Shihari crew as they dive into a hostile jungle.
A Mutiny of Pirates: Kinfolk — Space pirates? Yup. Guns blazin’ and ships phasin’? Absolutely. Excessive emotional baggage? Check. Strap in with the space pirate crew, the Damn Shames, in this first of a space opera trilogy loosely based on Treasure Island, and tag along on ex-soldier Kin Hanford’s quest to save his newest crewmates from a cruel socialite.
