{"id":8722,"date":"2014-10-30T04:31:34","date_gmt":"2014-10-30T04:31:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.augustwritesabook.com\/tumblr-backup\/2014\/10\/30\/hey-look-a-goals-updatemore-edit-and\/"},"modified":"2014-10-30T04:31:34","modified_gmt":"2014-10-30T04:31:34","slug":"hey-look-a-goals-updatemore-edit-and","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.augustwritesabook.com\/tumblr-backup\/2014\/10\/30\/hey-look-a-goals-updatemore-edit-and\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>hey, look, a goals update!<!-- more --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>edit and self-publish\u00a0<em>First Run <\/em><\/strong>&#8211; <strong>aiming for<\/strong>: up on Amazon by the end of August\/beginning of September. <strong>actual<\/strong>: just about to send it to an editor.<\/li>\n<li><strong>faithfully write my chapters of<\/strong> <em>Return to Elgin <\/em>&#8211; we&rsquo;re on hiatus because I couldn&rsquo;t maintain my focus on it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>get my license\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; *crickets*<\/li>\n<li><strong>participate in the one-month game challenge<\/strong> &#8211; this never happened, but I <em>am <\/em>working on a game concept with him atm.<\/li>\n<li><strong>take my supplements regularly<\/strong> &#8211; took a too-long break, but back on it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>exercise at least 4x weekly<\/strong> &#8211; something else I lost about four months on, but I&rsquo;m back to it. plus, with my upcoming move to a far-off building, I&rsquo;ll be walking across campus a lot more.<\/li>\n<li><strong>take a martial arts class<\/strong> &#8211; awww. this one&rsquo;s still on hold. we bought rock climbing stuff, though, that wasn&rsquo;t planned!<\/li>\n<li><strong>read 35 books<\/strong> &#8211; I&rsquo;m like&hellip;one book away. \ud83d\ude00<\/li>\n<li><strong>try at least one new recipe every week<\/strong> &#8211; this has definitely happened. to GREAT success. I&rsquo;ve improved immensely in my cooking range this year.<\/li>\n<li><strong>change my last name<\/strong> &#8211; done done done done!<\/li>\n<li><strong>develop a novel concept with Patrick<\/strong> &#8211; this was put on hold too.
