OH YEAH my triumph last Thursday…I’d nearly forgotten… so I’m sitting in a room with a bunch of women and one man and the man is very done-up and haughty about pretty much everything, but no matter……until he decides to go off on this rant about how “my dad taught me that you don’t wear beat-up shoes to your interview, because no one’s going to hire someone with beat-up shoes who looks like they’ve been wearing them for years” and I glanced around the room with one of my patented pursed-lip smiles of soon-to-come amusement and said “huh! well! I still got hired!”<\/p>\n
