This writing project started innocently enough in November of 2011, with August posting a link to fifty creepy images and a comment along the lines of &ldquo;don&rsquo;t you wish you knew the story?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>And we decided to make it so &hellip; Over 52 weeks in 2012, we posted 50 original short stories inspired by that series of old black and white photographs. And had a <em>blast<\/em> doing it. We hope you had as much fun reading them! (and that we didn&rsquo;t cause too many nightmares)<\/p>\n<p>But that was 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Like the above image, our creativity branched out more than I think either of us foresaw. Once we had that taste, we decided we couldn&rsquo;t bring ourselves to stop with just the one year. That said, a story a week became a challenge toward the end given &hellip; well, given that life happens. So, look for two new stories a month &#8211; one from each of us &#8211; on the 15th and the 30th.<\/p>\n<p>Inspiration this time will come thanks to a book I received for Christmas: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/The-Amazing-Story-Generator-Thousands\/dp\/1452111006\" title=\"The Amazing Story Generator\" target=\"_blank\">The Amazing Story Generator<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Like you, we can&rsquo;t wait to see what our imaginations come up with this year!
