(I think this is Kerry Park.)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This isn\u2019t Kerry; it\u2019s way too close to the water and not high up enough. \u00a0I was gonna say I think it\u2019s Gasworks, that <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/?ll=47.644531,-122.33429&amp;spn=0.000717,0.001085&amp;t=h&amp;z=20&amp;vpsrc=6\">little stairs bit down by the water<\/a> where I\u2019d do parkour sometimes, but there\u2019s too much stuff in the water behind it, the tiles don\u2019t look like that, and the fence doesn\u2019t do that either. \u00a0After an absurd amount of fuddling around with Google Maps, I realized that this wasn\u2019t over Lake Union at all, because the perspective on the Columbia Center and the Third Ave building were wrong &#8211; they were flipped around, meaning this was probably a photo from the waterfront. \u00a0After realizing that, I used Google Maps\u2019 fancy blue-dots-mean-photos thing to find a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.panoramio.com\/photo\/2644065\">Panoramio photo<\/a> that had a very similar skyline\/background, which led me to this the <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/?ll=47.611025,-122.348976&amp;spn=0.000721,0.001085&amp;t=k&amp;z=20&amp;vpsrc=6\">checkered platform of Pier 66<\/a>, which I should have recognized from the beginning, since I\u2019ve been there a few times. \u00a0It\u2019s specifically, at 47.610961, -122.348759 or so &#8211; on the far east edge of the platform, there\u2019s a little rectangle that juts out &#8211; the east edge of that rectangle is the far-left section of fence in the photo, the corner just to the south of that is the point, and the long NE-SW-running wall is the corrugated thing off to the right.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"264\" src=\"http:\/\/i176.photobucket.com\/albums\/w175\/DarthSchrute\/jim-head-shake.gif\" width=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>cincodenada: brittathinksyoureedible: insomniiaac: &#8211; s e a t t l e &#8211; wassup, Kerry Park?
