I think that this graphic sums it up pretty well &#8211; I made this after trying to think of four core words that describe how and why I want to live.<\/p>\n<p>it won&rsquo;t be easy to balance all of these. sometimes one will have take a back seat to another. if I find that religion rings true, these values will work into that; and if I don&rsquo;t, I can still uphold them based on many of the morals I was raised on and many I have discovered in my time since then.<\/p>\n<p>and I have to give myself room to mess up, too, and leave room for where others&rsquo; equally valid and &ldquo;real&rdquo; points of view clash against mine. in the end, though, the only person I can change is me, to my own happiness, and then extend what I can offer to those around me.<\/p>\n<p>it&rsquo;s been a week of big changes &#8211; all good ones, and all ones that have needed to happen. guess I&rsquo;ve been doing a lot of reflecting, heh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&rsquo;ve done a lot of thinking lately about what my underlying values are.
