The first director will be\u00a0<strong>Saul Metzstein\u00a0<\/strong>(<em>Upstairs Downstairs<\/em>), with executive producer and lead writer\u00a0<strong>Steven Moffat<\/strong>\u00a0joining new EP\u00a0<strong>Caroline Skinner<\/strong>\u00a0and producer\u00a0<strong>Marcus Wilson<\/strong>\u00a0on the production team.<\/p>\n<p>The show will also be getting some new digs: the new series will be   produced at the BBC Roath Lock Studios in Cardiff, set to officially   open in March.<\/p>\n<p>Writers for the new season have been confirmed.\u00a0<strong>Toby Whithouse<\/strong> \u2014 the brains behind the original UK\u00a0<em>Being Human<\/em>\u00a0and the well-received\u00a0<em>Who<\/em>\u00a0episodes \u201cSchool Reunion,\u201d \u201cThe Vampires of Venice,\u201d and \u201cThe God Complex\u201d \u2014 will contribute once again. Meanwhile,\u00a0<em>Torchwood<\/em>\u00a0writer\u00a0<strong>Chris Chibnall<\/strong>\u00a0will   also join this year\u2019s writing team.
