because without a pretty heightened sense of self and others the human capacity for hypocrisy is ridiculous. in one breath we’re like “yeah I would never do that because {insert reason here}” and in the next we’re proudly declaiming our justifications for doing that very thing IN A SPECIFIC SET OF CIRCUMSTANCES<\/p>\n
like somehow that makes it all better<\/p>\n
