feline sleep expert Dr. Tobias Winslow. \u00a0\u201dI\u2019ve never seen anything like it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0polysomnogram revealed nothing out of the ordinary about the cats\u2019 brain functions, eye movements, muscle activity, breathing or heart rhythms. \u00a0\u201dWe had expected to find that Merry and Pip were synched up on an internal level,\u201d explained Winslow, \u201cbut it is literally just in the way they position their bodies for slumber.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>More tests will be done later this month during a scheduled comprehensive sleep
