I see maybe one sports post a week, if I\u2019m lucky. Not a single person has posted about March Madness and talking about football on here is like pulling teeth.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>I think Tumblr just isn\u2019t conducive to sports. it\u2019s not inherently fast enough. Twitter is great for that because if you\u2019re all live-Tweeting a game together it\u2019s almost like one giant living room. (which is the one thing I miss about being a rabid sports fan)<\/p>\n<p>or I could be wrong and there\u2019s a whole Narnia-style land of Tumblr I haven\u2019t found yet.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Dude, tumblr\u2019s the fastest thing out there. Do you know how fast gif makers work? Often things are up on tumblr way before twitter. I can get this kind of feeling if I go into a particular tag on tumblr, but then I\u2019m watching it with strangers. I want to watch games with my friends.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Tumblr<em>ites\u00a0<\/em>are fast. when Tumblr started, though, it was a blogging site. it wasn&rsquo;t a place to chat until the Tumblrites made it one. so the sports fans, who might&rsquo;ve gotten into it early, didn&rsquo;t. and now they just aren&rsquo;t here.<\/p>\n<p>that&rsquo;s my theory, anyway.<\/p>\n<p>also, I would watch games with you!
