(not quite. I guess that&rsquo;s the end of this month. who&rsquo;s counting?) time to check in on my goals.<\/p>\n<p><!-- more --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>learn how to drive<\/strong> &#8211; \u00a0slacking on this a bit! I&rsquo;m being lazier than I would be if I hadn&rsquo;t gotten the new job, since I&rsquo;ll be able to take the Connector and it will mean (fingers crossed) more productivity. however, during my week-between-jobs, I&rsquo;m hoping to get in some good drive time. including in CA-NAA-DAAAAA.<\/li>\n<li><strong>get good at doodling humans<\/strong> &#8211; whoops.<\/li>\n<li><strong>edit God Grown Old<\/strong> &#8211; haven&rsquo;t touched it in a while, and both my siblings completely ignored it. luckily I have Anna and with our powers combined I might even get excited about it again!<\/li>\n<li><strong>obtain film credit more significant than PA<\/strong> &#8211; there&rsquo;s another episode of Jake&rsquo;s studio&rsquo;s music show coming up, so I should get to be in the control room again. I&rsquo;m super stoked.<\/li>\n<li><strong>continue to improve dancing abilities<\/strong> &#8211; I&rsquo;m dancing after this. no joke. boy&rsquo;s request.<\/li>\n<li><strong>give a handmade gift to Important People<\/strong> &#8211; another thing I might start tonight, while we watch <em>Ghosts of the Abyss<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>exercise at least 4x per week<\/strong> &#8211; slackerrrrrrr. (unless you count the naked activities. then I&rsquo;m doin&rsquo; juuuust fine.)<\/li>\n<li><strong>read 50 books<\/strong> &#8211; goddammit. I&rsquo;m stuck on\u00a0<em>Cryptonomicon.<\/em> it&rsquo;s so fucking long. at any rate&hellip;I&rsquo;m 7 books behind&hellip;hoping to get some serious read time in this weekend while we watch the house.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>so that&rsquo;s a little disappointing, but &#8211; I&rsquo;ve certainly MORE than kept up with my raise pace, which is going to be a huge part of making sure all the rest of these things can happen. and, of course, the wedding is not just planned, it&rsquo;s finalized &#8211; at least the courthouse part. three weeks from tomorrow. omg.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>hello, halfway mark!
