Isaac!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>ugh I think you&rsquo;re right. and when I went back to read his description in <em>The Stand<\/em>, I realized where I may have gotten confused (though I still hold that he&rsquo;s ambiguously race&rsquo;d):<\/p>\n<p><em>In New York he was known as Robert Franq, and his claim that he was a black man had never been disputed, although his skin was very light.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I totally read that as &ldquo;very light (for a black man),&rdquo; which although does not satisfy my headcanon casting of Isaac, does make me feel like I have some claim to this beef.
